...seems like there will be a lot of fun. Anyway, if you want to avoid this "fun", use iommu=soft on >3GB machines where you are running hibernation. Be sure to use iommu=soft on both boot and resume kernels.

Just because gart is broken is no need to trash all other IOMMUs :-)

(which may or may not be broken, but still... let's call gart a gart).
